EMBAParish Nursing at Burgh Baptist Church

ParishNurseBPWe were inspired by God to commence Parish Nursing in 2007 after seeing a Baptist Voices DVD.  Parish Nursing has enabled us to reach and impact people in our community in a way we had never been able to do before.  We have literally seen doors opened into people’s homes and hearts sharing the gospel of Jesus through Parish Nursing and some have come to salvation through the witness.
We broke the mould of Home Mission grants when we applied for a grant to employ Mandy Smith for one day a week, and this enabled us to employ her for two days a week, full time with Mandy doing the remaining four days voluntary.  Without Home Mission we would not have achieved the impact we have. To God be the glory.
