We'd love your church to reflect on the Proposed Mission Resolution, and have some suggested questions for you to consider together in the coming months.

• How is your church’s mission reflected in this shared understanding of mission expressed in the resolution? Can you find within the resolution the ways that you are already engaged in the mission of God in the places God has called you to be?
• What does this resolution add to your church’s current understanding of mission? Let us know if and how this understanding might broaden your understanding of the mission God is calling you to in your context.  
• What encouragements or challenges would your church like to share in response to this understanding, as part of our wider discernment? Do share your missional stories of both fruitfulness and challenge 

Children, Young People and Families Resource

To help churches unpack the Baptist Mission Resolution with young people so that the voice of young people can be heard and their contribution to the discernment valued, this resource  has been created and was used at Baptist Assembly 2026 within our young peoples programme to ensure that the Baptist Mission Resolution truly reflects the whole of our Baptist family, by including the insights and perspectives of young people. We hope this will provide tools to enable this to happen in an accessible way for young people.
