Lisa Kerry appointed CBA Regional Minister Team Leader

Lisa is currently Team Leader of Croxley Green Baptist Church in Hertfordshire

Lisa KerryThe name of the Revd Lisa Kerry, Team Leader of Croxley Green Baptist Church, was brought to the General Meeting on 5 March 2022, Central Baptist Association (CBA) has announced, where she was 'unanimously and enthusiastically appointed to follow Geoff Colmer.'

Geoff is the current CBA team leader, and will retire later this year.

All those involved in the shortlisting and interview process, drawn from CBA and the wider Baptist Union, were thanked for their prayerful and careful consideration of both the process and the candidates. Lisa will start in June and overlap with Geoff for a month.

Before she was a minister, Lisa was a nurse for over 20 years but then felt God’s call into ministry and trained at Spurgeon’s College gaining a Batchelor of Divinity and then a Masters in Advanced Christian Studies. She worked at two churches and as a part-time chaplain in two hospices in Essex before being called to Croxley in 2013.

Lisa said, 'I am really excited to be taking up this post. We have a wonderful legacy to build on and I’m trusting God that He will continue to be faithful to us in the CBA as we follow him and walk together.'

A future occasion for an induction will be fixed and advertised in due course.

CBA's two other regional ministers - Stephen Copson and Colin Pye - are also retiring this year. The process to identify their replacements is currently underway. Please pray for those involved in the process.
