At City Life Church we believe we have a mission to live wholeheartedly for God. Through this we want to see His Kingdom come and God-given potential released in ourselves, our communities and beyond. Our vision is for children, youth and families to experience God’s love. We aim to see God’s love in action through every part of our CYF Ministry, as well as through our City Life Church family.
We are celebrating growth in our Kingdom ministry to children, youth and families both within City Life Church family and within the community. This is a new role within an established team. We have a passion to nurture and see children and young people encounter, know, grow, love and live for Jesus. We want them to be filled with Holy Spirit, and seek God’s adventures, plans and purposes in their families and the frontline of their everyday.
There are two CYF Pastors sharing many joint responsibilities for CYF, whilst having a particular youth or children focus. This vacancy has a children focus. Please see the Job Description for full role and responsibilities.
Rate of Pay: A wage of £12.78* per hour (Band B) will be paid for this role plus paid annual leave. We offer the Baptist pension scheme to all employees.
* Pay rise due from 1st April 2026 in line with Baptist Union recommendations.

The post holder is required to be a role model to children, teaching and living Christian truths. Therefore, there is an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a Christian as set out within our Statement of Faith and Welcome document. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure (DBS) check.
