Baptist Chaplain Honours the Dead

There was Baptist involvement at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday

The Revd Roland Wort, based on HMS DRAKE in Plymouth, represented the Naval Chaplaincy Service. Roland has been a Royal Navy chaplain for more than 20 years, serving both ashore and afloat, including deployments in the Gulf, the Far East, the South Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

Also taking part in the festival was another Baptist, Vice Admiral Peter Wilkinson, the national president of The Royal British Legion.
Peter is a member of Locks Heath Free Church, a Baptist church in Hampshire
