Calver family to lead at Gorsl
 

People attending the popular Gorsley Festival in Herefordshire this August Bank Holiday weekend will get three Calvers for the price of one

 
Clive Calver, his wife Ruth and son Gavin are all speaking at the festival at Gorsley Chapel which attracts over 8,000 day visitors and 500 children and youth every year.
The Revd Dr Calver, who will be leading the morning ministry, is Senior Pastor at Walnut Hill Community Church, Western Connecticut, USA. Dr Calver is a former general director of the Evangelical Alliance in the UK and was a founder member of Spring Harvest.

Ruth Calver is Pastor of Women at Walnut Hill and will be a seminar speaker at Gorsley.

The Revd Gavin Calver, is National Director of British Youth for Christ and will be speaking at the evening celebrations.

Also appearing at the conference is former Manfred Mann singer and Radio 2 presenter Paul Jones; Graham Coles, well known for acting in ‘The Bill’; worship leader Graham Kendrick and Steve Legg, editor of Christian men’s lifestyle magazine, Sorted.

Worship is being lead by Nia and the Gorsley Band. A youth and kids programme is running and the flower festival that the event began as 32 years ago, returns.
